What Is Sober Tracker?

We built Sober Tracker to help you quit drinking or drink less. It counts your sober days, shows milestones up to 3 years and gives you a 15-minute timer to ride out an urge. It is made by Anmol, an independent developer, and tracking is free.

How It Works

How Sober Tracker Helps You Quit Drinking

  • Count Every Sober Day

The counter shows your sober days, hours, minutes and seconds. If you slip, your longest streak and your total sober days are kept.

  • Urge Surfing With a 15-Minute Timer

Tap “I have an urge” and start “Ride it out”, a 15-minute timer. You can also do a breathing exercise, open “Distract me” or call someone you trust.

  • Mark Each Day on a Calendar

  • Write Down How You Feel

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account?

No. You don't need an account or an email address. What you enter stays on your phone, and you can save a backup file in Settings.

Can I cut down instead of quitting?

Yes. Choose “Cut down” as your goal, then set a daily limit and the days you allow drinks. The evening check-in asks how many drinks you had.

Is Sober Tracker free?

Tracking is free: the sober day counter, the calendar, milestones, the journal and the 15-minute “Ride it out” timer. Sober Plus is optional and paid: monthly, yearly (with a 3-day trial for eligible new subscribers) or lifetime with one payment.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. Sober Tracker is on Google Play for Android. Leave your email on this page and we will send you one email when the iPhone app is out.

Who makes Sober Tracker?

Anmol, an independent developer. This Sober Tracker is the Android app with the ID com.anmolsoftware12345.sobertracker on Google Play. It is not connected to other apps with a similar name.

What happens to my streak if I drink?

Mark the day as a relapse. That day shows Day 0, and the count starts again the next day. Your calendar history, your longest streak and your total sober days are kept.

Does the app remind me to check in?

Yes. You can turn on a reminder for the morning pledge and one for the evening check-in. With discreet reminders on, the notifications use neutral wording.

How does the app help with urges?

Tap “I have an urge”, rate how strong it is and start “Ride it out”, a 15-minute timer. You can also do a breathing exercise, open “Distract me”, or call or text your trusted person.
